Selected
Pieces

No single reel — each piece below started from a clear image in my head and was built backwards from there. A few notes on how they came together.

Shape Your Mind

01 · AI CREATIVE · 2026

Shape Your Mind

Started with one mental image: a classical statue, mid-sculpt, with a power tool above it. Built the whole thing around a single continuous camera move — pulling out from the torso, then back in on the broken head. Mixed real stone textures with AI-generated elements so the metaphor stayed clean. Minimal cuts. The camera does the work.

Becoming a Soulmate to Yourself

02 · AI CINEMATIC SHORT · 2026

Becoming a Soulmate to Yourself

The idea came before anything else: one still figure, a world rushing around them. I sourced the central footage first, then layered motion-blurred crowd elements on top in post. The challenge was keeping the figure razor-sharp while everything else dissolved. Slow camera push. No transitions. The stillness is the effect.

Reflection Is a Winning Tool

03 · EDIT-DRIVEN FILM · 2026

Reflection Is a Winning Tool

Built entirely in the edit. I collected dozens of reference clips — skeptical reactions on one side, focused legends on the other — then matched them frame-for-frame in rhythm and framing. The whole video lives or dies on the cut timing. I locked the pace first, then swapped clips in until the contrast hit hard enough.

Same Old Problems

04 · MIXED MEDIA · 2026

Same Old Problems

The hardest one to assemble. Pulled together modern footage, classical paintings, AI-generated portraits, and sketch overlays — then forced them all into the same color grade so it felt like one piece. The work was more about making wildly different sources speak the same visual language.

02 — About

Visual
Thinker.

I'm Anastasia Bokaryova. Videographer. Visual thinker.

Every project I take on starts the same way: with a clear picture in my head. Not a brief. Not a checklist. An image.

From there, I work backwards. I build mood boards, source references, pull footage, and generate assets with AI when the vision calls for something that doesn't exist yet. Real or synthetic — it's all the same to me. The vision decides which tool I reach for.

What happens between seeing an image in my head and watching it appear on a screen is the reason I love it. That gap is where everything interesting lives — the problem-solving, the experimenting, the small decisions that no one else will ever notice but that make the whole thing land. I chase that match between what I imagined and what I made — and when it lines up, there's nothing else I'd rather be doing.

If you have an idea you can see clearly — or one you can't quite see yet — I can help you build it.
